As you know, in spite of media and government reports that there is a ‘ceasefire’ and ‘peace in the Middle East’, Palestinians in Gaza continue to experience the brutal suffering of an ongoing man-made humanitarian crisis and constant attacks by Israel’s immoral army.

The Canadian Boat to Gaza plans to sail again in Spring 2026 as part of the Freedom Flotilla Coalition, and will once again collaborate with other initiatives to break the illegal blockade with many boats from around the world. American journalist, author and commentator Chris Hedges, recently wrote about the importance of challenging Israel’s illegal blockade of Gaza by sea. Hedges states that The Flotillas to Gaza Are the World’s Conscience, refusing to accept the status quo, reminding the world of ‘it’s moral and legal duty to intervene’.

Indeed, since the Canadian Boat to Gaza Tahrir sailed with the Freedom Flotilla Coalition in 2011 we have set our course for the conscience of humanity.
